Curses

Curses are unlockable stat changes added in the Heaven & Hell update. Each curse can be purchased for 3 Chunks Medallions from Filia.

Each curse provides one boon and one drawback the character it applies to. The player can enable or disable curses by pressing "Curses" when selecting a character, and an enabled curse will apply its effect whenever the player plays a character with an active curse. The drawbacks of curses can be temporarily removed if the player has a Blessing.

Trivia

• Each character's C Costume is unlocked by completing a run with all three of their curses enabled.

	Curse of the Survivalist		+Changes Jules' default weapon to the Sawed-off Shotgun. -Decreases the amounts of pickups Jules finds.
Jeff	Curse of the Lethargic		+Boosts Jeff's maximum HP to 10. -Makes Jeff even slower.
	Curse of the Bowels		+Makes Toilet Paper spawn much more frequently for Jeff. -Shops stop spawning for Jeff.
	Curse of the Weary		+Changes Jeff's default weapon to the Double Handgun. -Increases chance for tanky enemies to spawn for Jeff.
Cordelia	Curse of the Daughter		+Decreases all shop prices for Cordelia. -Coins drop less frequently for Cordelia.
	Curse of the Resident		+Entire floors are visible from the start for Cordelia. -Increases Cordelia's chance to encounter cursed floors.
	Curse of the Attractive		+Changes Cordelia's default weapon to the Magnet Staff. -Decreases Cordelia's max HP to 4.
Mumba	Curse of the Glass Cannon		+Doubles Mumba's damage. -Decreases Mumba's maximum HP to 1.
	Curse of the Kleptomaniac		+Starts Mumba with two random items. -Slightly decreases Mumba's speed.
	Curse of the Hedonist		+Changes Mumba's default weapon to the Sex Gun. -Halves Mumba's fire rate.
Digby	Curse of the Pubescent		+Increases Digby's combo rewards and effects. -Decreases Digby's combo window.
	Curse of the Hotheaded		+Increases Digby's damage by 33%. -Decreases Digby's maximum HP to 3.
	Curse of the Encumbered		+Changes Digby's default weapon to the Huge Hammer. -Decreases Digby's speed.
Lydia	Curse of the Gambler		+Chance for Lydia to receive two items as a cash reward. -Health pickups spawn less for Lydia.
	Curse of the Greedy		+More coins spawn for Lydia. -Lydia's wallet drains coins faster.
	Curse of the Extravagant		+Changes Lydia's default weapon to the Flamethrower. -Increases shop prices for Lydia.
Luis	Curse of the Perceptive		+All special rooms on the map are revealed to Luis at the start of the floor. -Makes all floors larger for Luis.
	Curse of the Sharpshooter		+Increases Luis' damage by 40%. -Decreases Luis' fire rate by 25%.
	Curse of the Hangover		+Changes Luis' default weapon to the Chest Scaffolding. -Decreases Luis' accuracy.
Fuji	Curse of the Heavyweight		+Boosts Fuji's speed and damage by 25%. -Tanky enemies spawn much more frequently for Fuji.
	Curse of the Long-Distance Relationship		+All of Cordelia's shop items become completely free for Fuji. -Cordelia's shop spawns less frequently for Fuji.
	Curse of the Immolated		+Changes Fuji's default weapon to the Fire Punch. -Decreases Fuji's punch speed.
BOSS	Curse of the Mysterious		+Adds additional secret rooms to every floor for BOSS. -All treasure rooms become secret rooms for BOSS.
	Curse of the Scattershot		+BOSS' explosions deal more damage. -Decreases the size of BOSS' explosions.
	Curse of the Maniac		+Changes BOSS' default weapon to the Triple Bazooka. -Significantly decreases BOSS' fire rate.
Axel	Curse of the Vain		+Increases Axel's chances of finding more valuable items. -Cordelia's shop becomes more expensive for Axel.
	Curse of the Hunk		+Makes Axel's charged axe throws more powerful. -Increases Axel's axe charge time .
	Curse of the Cool		+Changes Axel's default weapon to the Ice Hatchets. -Makes Axel's uncharged axe throws weaker.
