Dead Rat is an Item that prevents Chunks from spawning on most floors after being picked up. Chunks is not removed from a floor if he is already active when this item is obtained, and he is still the boss of Dead Estate. This item is only available in the Bathroom or in Challenge Rooms.
Strategy
This item makes runs on higher difficulties significantly easier, since Chunks spawns earlier on higher settings and may hassle an unprepared player. However, Money may be harder to come by since the reward for incapacitating Chunks is no longer available.
Trivia
- Dead Rat's description text wiggles and is in rainbow.
- On X Must Die difficulty, the Glitchy Chunks that appears on the Old Set floor will behave similarly to other difficulties rather than appearing immediately in the room where the Boss Key is obtained.
