Gully is an Item that randomly causes a seagull (presumably nicknamed Gully) to fly across the screen and drop bird poop on the floor of the current room, which deals 20 damage per second to enemies that step in it.
Strategy
Gully is a convenient item but it isn't easy to strategize around, as Gully's appearance is both random and his flight across the screen is slow. The extra damage created by the poop area can helpfully finish off enemies, and the player can intentionally lead monsters in circles to maximize the damage the effect deals to them.

Trivia
- Anyone who suggests that animals are amoral and thus can't commit evil acts has never met a seagull. Those things would kill if they had the means, and even without it, they will try.
