Cybil
Cybil is a shopkeeper and boss in Dead Estate.
Appearance
Cybil is a tan skinned woman with yellow eyes. She wears a red robe with yellow outline on the hood. She also wears a grayish slim outfit, with bare skin showing around her breasts, belly button, and left leg. While not normally seen, she has dark brown hair. After being defeated, her robe is removed, her slim outfit is torn and she has white bandages wrapped all around her.
Shopkeeper
Cybil's shop is treated as a secret room. It can randomly appear on the main floors, but is guaranteed to appear on Dark Mood Woods, The Forsaken Crypt, and Sunken Ship. She'll sell 4 random items, the cost ranging from $50-$250(with price inflation from loops being applied).
Boss Fight
Cybil appears as a boss of The Laboratory. When beaten, her hood flies off and she angerly flips the player off before teleporting away. Afterwards, she will have unique sprites in the shop for the rest of the run.
Attacks
- Starts the fight by flying from the edge to the center of the room.
- Fires a stream of bullets at the player's current location, similar to Masked Cultist.
- Teleports around, charging at the player between each one.
- Summons a ring of 6 bullets that spin around her. The ring grows, shrinks, then grows again before each bullet is turned big. Each bullet will then individually charge toward the player's current location.
Strategy
Cybil is very much a projectile based boss. She is one of the few to not deal any contact damage(excluding when she charges), meaning items like Spiked Bracelet can be used to tear through her health by standing on top of her. A good strategy to make her more manageable is to try and knock her around after the big bullet attack. As long as she doesn't reach right above the ground, she will not start attacking again, meaning you can theoretically keep her suspended in air until she's defeated.

- Cybil was added in the Home Theater Update.
- Cybil is one of the higher members of the Cult of The Leviathan, possibly the second in command.
- Cybil shares unique dialogue with Cordelia, mentioning her father and mocking her.
- Cybil is the only boss who is not killed once she's defeated.
- Cybil can appear in The Arena, and will appear defeated the next time the player sees her.
- Cybil is the second shopkeeper added to the game(excluding Roselia because at the time she only appeared as a replacement for Cordelia).
- Cybil's great grandfather was the one who first discovered The Leviathan, and founded the cult in it's honor.
