Abilities

Gives the player a chance to completely nullify damage received when their current Money is less than $100.

Strategy

Blocking damage is one of the more powerful abilities in the game, especially in a Looped Run where enemies are tougher. Although this is chance-based, it can still save you from unexpected damage or every now and then. The requirement to have less than $100 means if you want to keep the effect, you'll have to spend often or not break as many pots.

Synergies

• Other ramen items inherently synergize with this, as the player will have to maintain a low amount of Money to use this effect.

• Big Spender - Lets you reduce your money count by firing with an empty weapon, allowing you to manually keep your money count low.

• Liquid Luck - Increases this item's chance to block significantly.

• Instant ramen is seen as a cheap meal for students, due to the fact that you can buy it in bulk for a low cost. Beef is a common flavor of instant ramen, although not as common as chicken. More intricate and specialized flavors of instant ramen are produced, but they are less common outside Japan.
• Cordelia's shop quote references the low nutritional value of instant ramen.
