Jelly Bean Box is an Item that causes pots to sometimes drop Jelly Beans. The player maintains a counter of beans collected, and collecting every fourth bean heals them by 2 HP.
Strategy
Jelly Bean Box should never be passed up, especially on higher difficulties, as it increases the player's overall healing potential, similar to Heartworm. Jelly Beans are fairly common, and the 2 HP bonus is twice as high as a regular Heart.
Jelly Beans are the only pickups in the game that don't persist, meaning they will disappear as soon as the player leaves a room. It's recommended to pick them up immediately as the player sees them.
