Chysus Medallion is an item in Dead Estate.
Abilities
Rather than dying when you hit 0 HP, you'll instead lose money at a quick rate. Unless you get heatlh back and run out of money, you'll die.
Strategy
Chrysus Medallion is a risky safety net, it's worth being directly tied to how much money you currently have. It's best to hoard money to reap it's benefits in a safe manner.
Synergies
- Second Chance? - As long as the player doesn't run out of money, they will contiuosly explode until they kill something and get 1 HP back, making it way more consistent for Chrysus Medallion to pay off.
- Tiny Wallet - Out of all items, AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS. The permanent max money threshold will prevent Chrysus Medallion from being able to be useful.
- Lydia is a highly dangerous character to use this with, as even when you regain HP, you now have less money to work with. It can be used effectivly, but only in situations with large amounts of money to make it worthwhile.
