Point of No Return: The Balcony

The Balcony is the penultimate floor of a normal run and provides players with the opportunity to loop the run by jumping from the ledge in the southwest most room.

The Content

The southwest door from the room you arrive in will lead to a room with a path leading to another southwestern door, lined by pillars with two pots behind each pillar. The Central upper pillar has a sign which reads "Venture further southwest and you shall return to your starting point."

The southwest door from this room sees the path fall away to a sharp drop from a ledge. Excluding the paved portion the ledge is lined by a metal fence and four pillers. The pillar directly above the path has a sign which reads "Leap from the ledge and descend to the first floor!"

As the sign implies, jumping from this ledge loops the run, returning you to a newly generated, more difficult first floor with all of the upgrades and items you had achieved.

The northeast door from the room you arrive in will lead you to a room with 4 exits. This room has four pillars surrounding a circular indentation in the floor, in the middle of which is a golden pot. From here

• The northwest door leads you to a room with both an item chest and a weapon chest.
• The southeast door leads to a shop.
• The northeast door leads to the Coffin, with the final room beyond that being the elevator to the Dead Estate floor.
