Chemical Monstrosity
The Experiment is a boss in Dead Estate, and appears at the end of the Laboratory.
Appearance
The Experiment is a red slime-like monster with dark eye-sockets and indented eyebrows. A mouth is formed from dripping sludge from it's face.
Attacks
- Dives into the ground, becoming invulnerable, and moves across the room. During this time, multiple smaller puddles appear, with fists coming out of them at a delay.
- Shoots back up out of the ground, firing a sporadic spray of shots around itself.
- Summons 4-6 bullets from the ground, that target and fire at the player's current location.
Strategy
The Experiment requires focus at all times. Because attacks can come from multiple places at the same time, it's important to look ahead at where the attack is coming from to plan accordingly. Attacking from afar is also a great strategy, as it keeps you away from the close range attacks it can dish out from time to time.

- The Experiment is the only main-floor boss that was introduced with the release of the full game.
