Basement Key is an Item in Dead Estate that grants a chance for a Basement elevator to appear on every main floor.

Strategy

While somewhat situational, this item can potentially allow you to add several extra floors to your run, which can give you more time to gather items without actually doing a loop. Or, alternatively, can allow you to skip straight to the Laboratory. It can be especially useful if you have items that activate once per floor.

Synergies

• Christmas Gift is a big one, gaining a free item at the start of every floor, while also being able to go back to any main floor, means dramatically more items.
• Elevator Button gives you far more access to Sub-Floors, which can spawn on Main Floors, ergo being able to replay main floors means getting more Sub-Floors. Even more powerful with Christmas Gift.
